Most accredited institutions will offer the environmental science major. Some of the top institutions include Harvard, MIT and Yale.  We recommend applying to as many programs as possible. Environmental science is in no way shape or form an easy major. It is very math and reading intensive. Luckily it is not as difficult as some of the other engineering majors such as chemical engineering, bio medical engineering, or mechanical engineering.

There are many notable Environmental science alumni. Some of the more famous alumni include Tyler Haft of the East Delaware Engineers society who famously pioneered a new abstraction technique for cauliflower seeds that allows you to better produce seeds. He won the Nobel prize in 1988 for his invention and was even knighted by the queen of England.  Other notables in clude Harry washing, the inventor of the strinign technique which allows farmers to grow healthier crops to tyler Homlin one of the original pioneers of the enrichment technique.

What does a typical day look like for an environmental science major? Typically most jobs start around 8am and continue until 5. Most of your day will be very math intensive, but you will be able to work at your own pace.
